The Strange Case of Rodrigo Rosenberg

Rodrigo Rosenberg, a Guatemalan attorney killed last year, planned and carried out his own assassination, according to the conclusions of a United Nations investigation. This is a weird twist to a story that began with a videotape.

In it, Rosenberg fingered Guatemalan President Alvaro Colom in his murder. The president issued a swift denial. Now, a year later, the UN report apparently clears his name. Here’s the BBC’s story.
