La gringa y la argentina

Little Kitty’s diet: occasional licks of Greek yogurt and granola, cat food, bits of meat. Into ice water; who knew? Like most Miamians, she worships the sun.

Isabel: what I imagine is typical among Argentine cats, especially those raised in a botanical garden, the especially streetwise: any animal product, from rare steak to pigeon. She clearly has a thirst for blood, so the occasional bold steak thievery attempt must be her way of accommodating herself to life in a condo in Miami.

PS. They hate each other, la gringa y la argentina. Little Kitty growls in a sort of petty, bougeoise jealousy about treats and Ty beanie babies.
