Lockdown continues
May 19: It rained all day, continues to rain, as if the city were finally able to weep and mourn after so many days of death and smoke.
June 10: 106 degrees breaking my spirit as I wrestle with my motivation to concentrate, get work done, suddenly, spectacularly, dissolves into rain. It's now 82, the air is less toxic to breathe, my Queen of the Night is in full bloom, covering up the coffee smells, the dog smells, the altogether overly inhabited space smells with a thick Indian perfume.
