Buenos Aires: Send in the Psychologists

After a hidden iPod in a child's backpack exposed abusive daycare workers, the Buenos Aires provincial government said it would make an example of la jardín Tribilín.

The iPod was stashed in a little girl's backpack after her father received a tip from an employee of the facility and captured more than five hours of tape.

Broadcast outlets here have played snippets of female voices shouting and insulting the children whose crying can also be heard.

"What are you laughing at, stupid?" one woman says on the recording. Buenos Aires province will send psychologists to meet with children next week. Working with the public prosecutor's office, the psychologists will encourage the children to give testimony about their mistreatment at daycare.
