Floating Cities

Floating boulevard, Miami. 

A Dutch company specializing in island developments built as immobile, decorative barges in the middle of the sea has come to Miami to perhaps build something here. Dutch Docklands is planning a 5-star snowflake shaped hotel in the waters off of Norway.

If the trend catches on, the implication could be that cities, like more and more people, are becoming drifters. They no longer require the anchors they once did.  Perhaps the snowflake barge will become the constantly shifting, magnificent Northern Light.
